The demo for Animalkind was updated for Steam Next Fest with the following improvements:

Online co-op returns — game worlds support up to 4 players, create towns together!
Redesigned home island — an entirely new island to explore with its own secrets and new features
Zoomies — animals race around the island at striking speed while automatically scooping up all items from the ground
New decorations — more customizable options to decorate the island and town
